Dysphania cristata and Thalamita oculea are reported for the first time in the Mediterranean basin; new Atlantic records and data on four benthic alien species; the rockfish Sebastes schlegelii is recorded from the Bulgarian Black Sea coast; while Economidichthys pygmaeus is established in Northeastern Greece.

The non-native anadromous salmonids of the La Plata Basin (Argentina) are reviewed; freshwater-fish parasites Sciadicleithrum iphthimum and Gyrodactylus cichlidarum are identified in India and the Unites States, respectively; and new viruses are detected for the first time infecting Penaeus monodon from the Gulf of Mexico and Northwestern Atlantic Ocean.
